Every so often, someone reaches out thinking I’m Ron Johnston—the founder of a consulting firm with a similar name out in Florida. So let me clear things up real quick: I’m not Ron, and I’m not affiliated with his business. We just happen to share a name that speaks to what so many of us are chasing—peak performance. But how we go about it? That’s where things are completely different.
So let me tell y’all who I am—and why I do what I do.
I’m Phillip Moore, MS—a Mental Performance and Wellness Coach based in Palm Springs, California. I founded Peak Performance & Wellness Coachella Valley to help people manage stress, get clear on what matters, and show up as their best—whether that’s on the field, on the stage, in the office, or just navigating the everyday.

Now here’s the real story behind this work:
Before diving into the world of sport and exercise psychology, I spent years in the fast-paced world of sales and marketing—high-stakes, competitive, constantly on. I know what it’s like to chase goals, hit targets, and still feel like you're running on fumes. I’m also a lifelong athlete and performer, and I’ve been in the spotlight enough to know that pressure doesn’t always come from others—most of the time, it comes from within. That inner voice that pushes you harder, questions your worth, and keeps you up at night. Trust me, I’ve been there.
So when I decided to shift gears and build this practice, it came from a deep place of knowing. Knowing what it feels like to juggle expectations, push through burnout, and pretend you're fine when you’re anything but.
That’s why I created this space—for people like you (and me) who need tools, support, and a reset.
Not fluff. Not toxic positivity. Just real conversations, real strategies, and a coach who gets it.
Peak Performance Coachella Valley isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. It's about restoring your confidence, regaining your focus, and building mental skills that actually work in high-pressure moments—on and off the clock.
And again, just so we’re crystal clear—I’m not affiliated with the other Peak Performance in Florida. This is California, y’all. This is local. This is real. And it’s rooted in lived experience, research, and a whole lot of heart.
I also believe that small things can change everything.
That’s why I recently wrote a blog on Random Acts of Kindness —because holding a door, offering a kind word, or simply checking in with someone can have a powerful ripple effect. Not just on them—but on you. Science backs it, and so does life.
So if you’ve found your way here because you’re tired, curious, overwhelmed—or just ready to feel more like yourself again—you’re in the right place.
You can check out what I offer here.
Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to connect and help you tap back into that strong, steady version of yourself you may have forgotten—but never lost.
